Hello All -
We will be ringing the bell again this year on DECEMBER 8TH from 9am to 9pm in front of Meadville Walmart. This is a HUGE help to the Salvation Army as they depend on volunteers to do this job and last year they suffered in the number of volunteers they could find and when they don't have anyone to ring the bell for them they are missing out on collecting money for those in need. Lets have a great turn out for this event and be sure to give back to our community together.
Please sign up below for a 1 hour time slot with no more than 2 people per booth if at all possible. We will be covering both of the doors at the store all day from 9am-9pm. Please dress warm for the weather as we encourage you to stand outside and only be in the booth as needed. I will provide hand warmers for the booths as well as candy canes to hand out to anyone donating.
Thank you in advance for giving your time. I will update this calendar as I receive sign ups.

Hello Local Royalty---
I would like to invite everyone who may be available to join Crawford County Cheer All-Stars in their 3rd Annual Fill The Jeep Event to be held on November 5th from 10am - 4pm at Meadville Walmart. CCCA cheerleaders will be handing out wish lists for soldiers who are overseas and not able to make it home for Christmas to patrons of the store. We will be collecting donations in both monetary and product form to send to the soldiers. All monies raised will go towards the shipping cost to send these packages. All items are kept local and sent by the Vietnam Veterans Post 52 right here in Meadville to their list of soldiers for Christmas.
The information for the event is as follows:
Crawford County Cheer All-Stars is holding their third annual “Fill the Jeep Project: Helping Santa Bring Christmas to the Troops!”
The Soldier’s Sleigh, a 1952 Military Jeep will be at the Meadville Wal-Mart on November 5th from 10am until 4pm with the Crawford County Cheer All-Stars. The Cheerleaders will be passing out fliers with the Soldier’s Christmas List on them. Help them support our troops by putting something on th...at list in the Jeep. This list includes items such as Chap Stick, playing cards, crossword puzzles, beef jerky, Pringles, gum, chocolate, and most needed, cards and letters of support. All donations, including monetary gifts, will be given to the Vietnam Veterans Post 52 Welcome Home Association in Meadville for their Christmas Packing to be sent to soldiers overseas.
Crawford County Cheer All-Stars is asking you to remember our soldiers this Holiday Season…. Help us “Fill the Jeep” and get the Soldier’s Sleigh flying!
Thank you for your support of our local girls and our military troops. I appreciate you taking the time to support us and are welcome there all day! If you have any questions, please call Kelly Walker at 720-1664 or Desiree Dennis, Director, at 720-6446.
Any local queens whom are available to attend are encouraged to wear your crown and sash and let Desiree know when you will be coming. Thank you in advance.

Please sign up for a time to ring the bell at Walmart to assist The Salvation Army in raising funds to help those in need. Be sure to contact me ASAP to get you time and I would love to see royalty groups together if possible.
I would like no more than 3 royal members in a booth at a time and that is ONLY if there is a little queen or prince in the group. Please try to maintain only 2 per booth at a time for comfort. There has been a heater in each booth over the last few years but be sure to dress for the weather.
I will make sure there are candy canes with a message saying "Thank You from your Local Royalty" to be handed out whenever someone makes a donation. There will also be a camara in each booth so please be sure to have your picture taken in the booth before you leave so we can archive these memories.

Tiffany and Kelly Thayer have put together a team for the Relay for Life and have information below for anyone able to attend or wishing to purchase a shirt to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society...Please pass on the information below... The event weekend is June 26-27 at the Pioneer Steam & Gas Engine Grounds in Saegertown
We will be ordering t-shirts as a fundraiser for Relay for Life!!! The team will be wearing the shirts for that weekend, but if you can't make it, think about buying a shirt to help raise funds for The American Cancer Society! The T-shirts will be purple. The design will be across the front of the shirt in white writing. "Crowns for a Cure" will be written across the top, a crown will be in the middle, and below the Crown, "Relay for Life 2010" will be written. The cost of the shirts will be 10$ and around 5 dollars will be donated back to The American Cancer Society; this will be based on how many shirts will be ordered. To order a shirt, send your money and size to Tiffany and Kelly Thayer at 6007 US HWY 6, Linesville Pa, 16424. Or you can give your order to Tiffany at an appearance, or contact her to get together. We need the money and orders by JUNE 6th to ensure they arrive on time!!!!!!

I would like to invite everyone to attend a day at Waldameer Park this summer on Sunday June 13th. The idea is to get as many families of our local past & present royalty together for a picnic at the park & a day of fun in the sun. I can reserve a pavilion for the group and we can get ride & slide tickets for only $16.50 a person instead of $24 if we go as a group. We see each other at pageant events, parades, and community service activities but this idea was brought to my attention (thanks Janet) as a fun way for all of us to visit & hang out for a day at an Amusement park. This will give the families time to hang out too!
Please let me know if you are interested in this idea and spread the word. I would love to see all of the local royalty together for a day of fun!!! I would need to make sure to reserve the proper number of tickets at least 1 wk in advance so if we could get a final count by June 1st that would be excellent.
The idea for food that was discussed was to have everyone bring some coolers & food and have a large buffet at the pavilion. We could bring some travel grills...I know I have 2...and cook burgers and hot dogs or whatever for dinner as well if we wanted. The details for that would be determined when the time was closer but I wanted to get the word out now so we can dream of a nice summer day under all this snow & plan ahead because our summers are always so busy.
Looking forward to hearing from you all. PS....Spread the word about the site so we can get our membership up so we reach more and more royalty from the area.
Take care.
Smiles!!!
Desiree Vittorio
